Mission to the Stars 1 EBCO
The first full performance of Mission to the Stars: A Space Rock Opera piece occurred on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at EBCO, a small community theater in Sheboygan WI, and featured Drew Fredrickson (Jetty Boys) and Jared Beckman (Cedarwell) in the lead roles.

Mission to the Stars 2 Blast Off!
In 2012, a new outdoor version of the show—Mission to the Stars: Blast Off—premiered on Friday, August 17 on the Fountain Park stage, as part of Sheboygan’s annual Earthfest. In terms of scale and ambition, this show was a major upscale of the original, though it featured largely the same cast and crew.

Mission to the Stars 3 Sputnik Saga
Mission to the Stars: The Sputnik Saga—took to the Fountain Park stage in 2013, and featured Ross Fale (Plutoniates) as Walter Ego, and Marc Brami (Black Knight) as Titan, a new character to the show. The story told of a piece of Sputnik landing in Sheboygan, and Apollo Neuman’s efforts to return it from whence it came. The spectacular stage show featured a flying Sputnik, a huge stage-fight, and an appearance by R2-D2 and C3PO.

Mission to the Stars 4 Mission Haus
In 2023, Mission Haus to the Stars: A Space Rock Opera, was staged at Lakeland University, on March 31-April 2, 2023. It featured a cast of Lakeland students and a band consisting of local musicians, including local rock god, Dave Steffen, on lead guitar, and Doc Mock on bass, Ross Fale on drums, and Michael Murphy on synthesizer. The performance was filmed but it has yet to be edited into a full production. Stay tuned.

Kid Panda Hands
Kid Panda Hands is the wonderful and weird lovechild of Jimmy Kisor and Andrew Lampela, both from around Athens, Ohio. When I joined this psychedelic noise band in 2005, Kris Poland was also a playing with the group. We had several memorable performances, though not always for the right reasons. If you made it to the end of the night, there was a good chance that you’d be asked to join the band. That’s how I got in. . .

Gobshite
Gobshite is Sheboygan’s premier Hawkwind tribute act, featuring the talents of Brandon Quam (drums), Zach Capetillo (bass), Michael Murphy (synthesizer), Moose, me and Tim on guitar, and me and Jono on vocals. They have played two gigs to great acclaim. Gobshite is currently on hiatus until the Earth comes calling again.

DJ-Rickdiculous
DJ Rickdiculous is a fun side project. When my services are required, I specialize in playing alternative and underground British music from the sixties, seventies and eighties. There’s a lot to choose from. I have also done Bowie nights and 80s themed dance parties.
